Scan Microsoft Rights Managed Documents and not to treat them as virus

We are using Symantec anti-virus with SharePoint 2013 - Symantec Protection for SharePoint 2013 (version 6.04) 

Symantec treats Microsoft RMS documents as virus while scanning and the workaround provided is to 

 - "Allow encrypted files" option needs to be enabled  in Symantec.

But the problem with this approach is RMS document which have virus can be excluded from scan and cause potential damage.

We are also using ADRMS 2008 R2 product with sharepoint which will ecrypt documents and libraries inside sharepoint.

I would like to request an enhancement for Symantec to scan encrypted and MS RMS documents even if the setting is not enabled to "Allow encrypted files".
