O365 & Symantec Network Prevent Email

I need a solution

Organization is moving to Office 365 enterprise wide. Currently using Symantec DLP & Message Labs (Now Symantec.cloud - Secure Email Gateway) for all external outbound emails in conjunction with on premise Exchange 2007.

Now that we are moving to exchange online we need to configure our DLP so that we can we retain the same function. That is to pass all non-internal destined emails the DLP and let the DLP send that email to the final destination.

The ideal solution  would Office 365 > Outbound email (outside corporate) > DLP > Internet (ex. @gmail.com)

I understand that Symantec Network Prevent Email cannot act as a Mail Transfer Agent. So, wanted to know from you if others that have used similar configuration and how they achieved that and if there is some documentation that I can refer to achieve our objective or a solution that you guys envision to solve the scenario would be immensely appreciated.
