I have a Customer whose PGP Universal Server v10.2.0 MP3 was recently upgraded to Symantec Encryption Management Server v3.3.2 MP2. Auto-update notification for PGP Desktop clients was enabled. They would like to know when the notification appears, what is the effect of clicking on Remind me later? It seems like the notification was never seen again throughout the day, even tried shutting down and restarting the client system. I have even tried clicking on "Update Policy" manually on the client but still no notification.
Does it temporarily disable the notification till the next policy update/refresh or upon the next time PGP Desktop loads, i.e. next Windows login or restart?
If not, how long does it take for the update notification to re-appear after clicking on Remind Me Later? Is there a way to bring back this notification without the need to configure anything at the client's system end?
Can anyone help to verify on this ?
