Updates - MP3 to MP7

HI there,

I am curious as to how updates work. The clients here and server was MP3. I updated the server to MP7.  Do I have to create a new client from the server and update every client/machine to MP7? Or do I only need to update the server and the clients pull down the fixes from the server?
