I have my main SEPM on a server here at our main location, and another SEPM set up at another site and configured as a replication partner. I'd like to have the devices at the remote site get their content updates from the server running SEPM there. What is the proper way to set this up? I have tried designating that server as a GUP but it's not working. All my other GUPs are working fine. In the sylink log it's showing "Downloaded new content update from Group Update Provider failed. Remote file path: <path of delta>" for the devices trying to use that server as their GUP.
Is there a way to point them toward the SEPM installed on the server there for updates as opposed to trying to set it as a GUP? I feel like I'm probably missing something obvious/easy here. Thanks in advance for any help.
